Exciting new routes are on the agenda at the 33rd Kitzb\u00fcheler Alpenrallye. The Queen\u2019s stage on the Friday proceeds around the impressive Karwendel mountain range, while the Saturday stage takes a detour into the Pinzgau region and to the Hohe Tauern.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

SPORT OR CLASSIC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The format is popular and has been tried and tested, with the Sport Trophy for overall victory and the Classic Trophy, where things are little more relaxed (with fewer checks). Classic Cars built between 1972-75 are permitted.<\/p>\n

NO ELECTRONICS ALLOWED!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A new element awaits participants. At the 2020 Rallye there will also be an \u2018hourglass class\u2019 for the first time. In this category it is only mechanical time-pieces and aids that are permitted; little technical aids are not permitted and are frowned upon \u2013 even the use of mobiles is prohibited.<\/p>\n

AROUND THE KARWENDEL<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After a warm-up at the prologue on Thursday through Brixental, a real challenge lies in store on the Friday stage \u2013 a circuit of the entire Karwendel mountain range. This impressive mountain massif in the border area between Tirol and Bavaria provides superb views to the rugged mountain summits, to the greeny blue mountain lakes and picturesque Alpine valleys. After a stop for lunch in Seefeld town centre, the route proceeds through the Tirol capital of Innsbruck and picturesque Unterinntal, back to Kitzb\u00fchel again.<\/p>\n

UP THE HOHE TAUERN<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We head to Salzburg\u2019s Pinzgau region on Saturday. After a special test on the \u00d6AMTC circuit at Brandlhof Saalfelden and a detour to Enzinger Boden at the foot of the three-thousand metre mountains in the Hohe Tauern, the route proceeds via Pass Thurn back to the grand finale \u2013 the car parade in Kitzb\u00fchel Old Town where thousands of spectators cheer on the teams. Get ready to feel those goose-bumps! <\/p>\n
