The Alpenrallye was <strong>founded<\/strong> and supported by the <strong>Kitzb\u00fchel Master Chef, Hasi Unterberger<\/strong>, for many years before his premature death in 2002, and by a circle of involved classic car enthusiasts; three of them are still involved in the rally today: <strong>Rupert Mayr-Reisch, Rudi H\u00f6finger<\/strong> and <strong>Hartmut Fromm<\/strong>. Other important names from the \u201cFounder\u2019s Period\u201d are <strong>Sigurd Bartenstein<\/strong> (\u2020 2001), <strong>Otto Langer<\/strong>, <strong>Hugo Schlatter<\/strong> (both have since retired from the OK-team) and the long-term OK-leader, <strong>Hermann Windbrechtinger<\/strong> (\u2020 1999). Together with numerous other dedicated colleagues they shaped the Alpenrallye in its early years.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6b24f47d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6b24f47d\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-eb1b660\" data-id=\"eb1b660\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-37ffb53 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"37ffb53\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Kitzb\u00fcheler Alpenrallye is sponsored by the <strong>Kitz Promotion GmbH<\/strong>. Members of the organizing committee and their responsibilities are: <strong>Rupert Mayr-Reisch<\/strong>, (Director of Gastronomy), <strong>Rudi H\u00f6finger<\/strong> (Structures), <strong>Dr. Clemens Winkler<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Hartmut Fromm<\/strong> (Legal), <strong>Mike Mayr-Reisch<\/strong> (Gastronomy). Chief of Organization and Business Director of the event is <strong>Markus Christ<\/strong>, Press Spokesperson <strong>Albin Ritsch<\/strong> (mecon kommunikation).<\/p><p>Handling of the competition portion of the event is in the capable hands of rally professional <strong>Detlef Ruf<\/strong>\u00a0(Rally Director)\u00a0\u2013 in close cooperation with <strong>Alfons Nothdurfter<\/strong> and his aids at the <strong>Motorsportclub Kitzb\u00fchel<\/strong>. <strong>Mag. Wolfgang N\u00f6lscher<\/strong> is the chief steward, with <strong>DI Werner Amend<\/strong> as head of scrutineering, together with his team (<strong>Eng. Werner Gausch<\/strong>, <strong>Matthias Grubert<\/strong>, <strong>DI Werner Decker<\/strong>). The participants\u2019 liaison officer is <strong>Josef Pointinger<\/strong>.
